Anyone run new wires under the slide?

I bought a wireless sub-woofer but the associated surround sound speakers need wires from the sub, not the original unit. They need to be RCA cables and Tiffin used plain speaker wire.I can't use them anyway as the routing is different. It looks to be a formidable job! Has anyone tackled this one?
